Introducing PIK 5.0 - "creating a better tomorrow" release

In the last 2 years we continued to improve the PIK based on our work with corporates and startups worldwide. The result is a complete revision incl. new tools and an improved step-by-step process to make it even more easier for you to build better platforms.

The improvements:

1. The Double-Loop model to cover Discovery and Scale-up phase

The new double loop model consists of two loops supported by our canvases / tools. The first loop is about the "entrepreneurial discovery of an impact" and the second loop about the "entrepreneurial scale of the impact". It covers 4 major perspectives each business needs to get right.

Market -> Ecosystem

Solution -> Experience

Business -> Network Effects

Team -> Culture

2. Sustainability by Design

We integrated sustainability and circular economy principles into our tools helping you to create a platform with a positive impact to the environment (people + planet). E.g. you can consider the UN Sustainability Development Goals or you can focus on reducing waste & inefficiencies. With the new PIK 5.0 you can clearly show that your aim is to build a better tomorrow, not just for profit.

3. Core and Advanced tools

As some topics required very specific knowledge we created a set of Advanced tools which help you to even further dive deeper and learn more about the topic but also use specifically designed tools to get the right answers.

Excellent event, Matthias! I especially liked your emphasis on including sustainability and other public good issues in the design of platform businesses. That is the future, for sure.
