Specialized in preparing companies for acquisition, Go-to-Market mentor of FoodTech and Digital startups.

• Led as CEO the transformation of a company focused on the sale of phytosanitary products to an AgTech biotechnology company with a new value proposition based on biological, digital and data solutions that allowed a 20% growth in revenue. The company increased its turnover from €31 million in 2020 to €44 million at the end of 2022.
After stabilizing the company and defining a new business project (1 year), led the selling of the majority of the shares of the company to a Spanish Private Equity Fund and participated in the M&A strategy and execution to build up the Ag Tech platform Agronova Biotech (€90 million) that integrates the companies acquired in 2022-23.

• Led as CEO the transformation of a Human Health&Food Ingredient company from commodity-based value proposition to an end-customer-centric approach based on clinical studies, real world evidence data and predictive models. The company increased its turnover x4 (€3 million to €12,5 million) in 6 years and its profitability x10 (from €-0 to €1,9 million) while transforming its main value proposition.
Built strategic business partnerships with large human health and nutraceutical companies in the most demanding markets in the world such as USA, Japan, New Zealand and EU countries with highest level of certifications as NSF GMP, Halal, Kosher and ISO-7.

• Managed and rationalized the Brazilian subsidiary of a Spanish industrial group with broad scope of responsibility, with a turnover of +€40million and +175 employees, that included financial and operational reporting and P&L accountability. Helped the Spanish PE owner of the company in the process to sell it to an US industrial company.

• As the VP of Resources&Operations of one of the largest textile franchisers in the world (more than 350 stores) lead the restructuring of the company group to adapt it to extremely difficult market conditions (2007-09 financial crisis), reducing costs by 50%. Implemented cost reduction initiatives to enhance profitability that led to 30% less operational costs. Helped the PE owner in the process to successfully sell the company to another Spanish PE.

• Led as a CEO the financial stabilization of family-owned home apparel/decoration company and an internationalization project. During my tenure in the company evolved from a family owned one to a leading player in the high decoration industry competing with companies like Becara, Zara Home or Armani Home increasing company´s revenue by 30% within first two years. Lead and closed a partial MBO to provide the company with more financial resources for the international expansion.

• Led as a Co-Founder the execution of a business plan to launch a Tech&Telco startup and raised +$15 million from leading investors as Mercapital, N+1, Ericsson and BBVA. Developed and implemented an innovative hosting/housing Business Model based on value creation billing. Drove company´s revenue up €20 million in three years’ time implementing projects for leading companies in the telecommunications and banking sectors as Vodafone (€24 million project), Telefónica (€6 million project), Orange –Auna- (€4 million), ING (€3 million) among others.

• Led as a member of Andersen Consulting executive team, big transformation projects in big utility and tech Spanish companies.
