My Takeaways of Unbundling the unbundlers – The end of winner-takes-all

How Web3 unbundle Marketplaces by @Sangeet Choudary


While I was reading the great article of Sangeet Choudary, I was taking notes in order to understand the main differences between Web2 and Web3 and my schematic brain create this table as an output ( well, to be honest, it was black and white and no icons.😜 Max helped me to make it beautiful! ). Hope it helps you to understand.


I will stay with 3 main ideas about WEB3:

👨‍👩‍👧 - "Shared ownership of market infrastructure by the ecosystem.

🎖️ - The best search interface and the best reputation system gain market adoption, not just the one sponsored and enforced by the central market maker.

🔃 - Benefits from a mutually reinforcing cycle where:

  • greater adoption of the protocol for governance drives

  • greater creation of marketplace infrastructure,

  • which in turn reinforces the adoption of the protocol."
