Today we're kicking off a new member feature series, giving you the chance to get to know some of our members better and find out what they've been up to. This week's Featured Members are Daniel Trabucchi and Tommaso Buganza.
Daniel Trabucchi is Professor of Platform Thinking at Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on business transformation, bringing together the strategic and human dimensions. He teaches at the executive level and advises international companies on how to identify new innovative directions.
Tommaso Buganza is Professor of Leadership & Innovation at Politecnico di Milano. His research activities are at the crossroad of Technology, Innovation, and Leadership. He teaches Platform Thinking to executives and consults international companies in search of platform-based transformations.
Together they are co-authors of the recently-released Platform Thinking: Read the past. Write the future. The result of a decade of research into platforms, Platform Thinking offers a framework and practical tools for understanding platform strategy, innovating with platform thinking, and designing a platform business model from scratch.Daniel and Tommaso are also Co-Founders of Symplatform, an international conference that aims to match scholars and practitioners working in the world of digital platforms.
Daniel and Tommaso appeared on TheNTWKTalks in April discussing the release of their book, Platform Thinking, and fielding questions from the community. We shared the recording and main takeaways before. In May, they co-hosted a session on The Platform Thinking Game at #TheNTWKSummit23 in Barcelona. Daniel is also our TheNTWKAmbassador for Italy.
